re-adjust

today, our fans page reached 1000 fans.
it's really sth to us.
yea, and i guess we are the only local one reached 1000 fans in this wedding design field.

flashing back to the day we had 100 fans, we were sooooooo delighted, and checking how much gaining every day.
and then a day come to 300, you will get used to it... stop looking at the number and become numb.

today, it really really makes me start to re-adjust the attitude toward our "small business";
at first, we consider it as a freelance/ part-time job; all because we like beautiful things and want to help people to make their weddings prettier..... and we were working at stree-free.

we feel blessed/ lucky that people like our works;
when the business is growing, stresses come automatically.
not from others, but from our own.....
will there a next better one ?
it's like competing with ourselves.
i think we are crazy.
(eric sometimes got jealous when people like my flower works more than his designed backdrop, hehe)

both eric & i do not know how to run a business basically...
when the terms like "license, insurance, staff" come up... we will be having a headache....
gosh, is it really growing too quick/ too soon ?
i donno....

happy this week

some achievements that we made this week:
with the time limit of less than a week,
giving my hubby a big big applause !!!

if you ever have a chance to visit the wedding expo at Wan Chai this weekend,
remember do not miss the booth G27-29, eric designed the booth there !
and i wrote a short poem for the company.. hahaha
our first time to help in commercial sector !
i must say, "what a nice work !" comparing others surrounding... hohoho....

i like working on small weddings

i like working on small weddings, so i can have more time to concentrate on tedious works like these.......
as they must be freshly prepared right before the event.

yea. i am a bad blogger

hello there....
i am in still the middle of busy......
i thought i can have more free time after the x'mas, but actually not.

after the wedding, i was actually still busy with 2 more jobs b4 the new year....
i slept thru the new year....... missed the count down :(

2010 begins, up till now, finished 3 more wedding jobs, 2 bridal showers, and 1 bridesmaid work for a very best friend....
more to come in this month, will be 1 ad-hoc wedding works and 1 more bridesmaid work for another best friend.

what i can say is... i am soooooooooo worn out...
but, i am happy.
don't worry me :)

oh..... but i had fun during the holiday, eric's cousins came back for the wedding,
and we hung out for some time....
and i missed them a lot now.
hope will visit them and Hawaii+ San Francisco soon lor !!!!

next is planning our trip to BKK during CNY.
yes, planning, still not yet confirm everything,
hope there is still a chance to get the room & flight tickets.....

what a wonderful wedding

okay, time should be back to normal,
and i hope i should have more time to spend on this blog.
Eric's baby sister, Krima, whose wedding was held yesterday.
yes, eric & i were the destined designer, semi-planner, and florist for the whole wedding.

it was... extremely harsh, making us "big head", spending the most most of the time in brainstorming, but the rewards were exceptionally huge !

okay, i must say, everyone is loving the whole decoration in the banquet, we were hearing the big big big compliments in the night. it was everything to me & eric.

one thing that touched me the most is, the very very famous wedding photographer in HK, Lawrence Tsang, gave us a lots & lots of praises and cheer words. (for those who doesn't know him, must see his works.)
he must have attended sooooooo many weddings, and should have seen many beautiful deco works before; but he told me "sincerely" that ours are the 2nd that he gave so many praises.
he even told me and eric these supporting words separately, which is truly a tremendous force to us to go a step further.

and eric thanks me many many times for all those hardships that he put on me, just because he was too stressful.

and from this experience, i know more about myself that having better organizing/ arrangement ability than i thought.

it was not at all easy to hold a theme wedding,
every detail, every little thing, from planning to making, to perfect.
yes, i am pursuing perfect thingssssss.

start from here, another step further. :D

counting down

the big project is coming very very soon !
the guest favor part is done with the help of 2 moms & my aunt,
& there are still many things on the list....
we were extremely busy lately (seems even more busy than preparing for our own wedding).
eric & i are both very tense in fact.

i really really really want to "hea" later....
but seems the foreseeing vacation can only set in Feb 2010....sad...

a little bit of delight

on and off, we have some printing orders from overseas wedding clients;
today, we have just confirmed a wedding backdrop work at macau in the coming october!
hey, our wedding business is extended to "over-seas" !
i 'm a bit delighted because of that ~~~~~望下山, 望下海 macau 旅行~~~

flowery ringpillow for pink person

remember the "pink series" last month with consecutive 5 posts about pink stuff ? pink is indeed my favorite color recently (my favorite changes swiftly sometimes....)

i made another flowery ringpillow for a customer,
it wasn't that girlie feel than i thought....
(worry too much before lol !)
hope she will like it :P

took a bouquet making lesson tonight, teacher told us to bring 30-40 medium size roses.
i have a difficulty in picking flowers everytime when i shop around the flower market, coz there are just too many choices.......so, usually i will walk 2 rounds and then can decide what to buy :P

pastel color are my all time favorite, i picked 3 different colors : cream, light pink & peach red;
& today i found the lovely calla lily in purplish color match the roses also.

successfully created a dome shape bouquet, so happy !!!
other classmates just admired my bouquet, as the color of flowers match so perfectly !!!
the bouquet is so heavy, but it's quite difficult to make a small one tho';
when i got home, i removed it from the handle and transform it to a centerpiece.

my felissimo order has arrived last night!

flowery ringpillow

spent 3 nights making this: my 1st flowery ringpillow,
gathered different purple felt that saved in my box for years, & different purple beads that i like.
i enjoyed making this very much, as it involves design, & matching the color is very fun !

eric asked me to take pictures on the surface of the piano,

lovely to see the logo & patterns reflected from the backdrop !

a pretty church Béthanie

went to Béthanie for kaman + kahing's wedding,
i have been fancy about this church for long,
a very quiet place with beautiful building.

too bad it was not opened for wedding ceremony 2.5 yrs ago,

otherwise, this must be my wedding venue.

it was the main shooting scene of the movie "星願".

i like that film.

happy rainy day

finally, it's 28 dec 08 today !
it's maggie + ken's wedding, i met the bride about 1.5 years ago,
and the groom about half an year ago.


maggie is a loving girl and now becoming a loving wife.
i didn't know why she ordered so much ribbon at first, & now i know.
very pretty decoration at the church;
the pink theme matched perfectly in the whole wedding.

eric & i had a nice walk in the afternoon and did some shopping at harbour city... finally!
it will be chinese new year in less than 1 month time,
will be very busy in the coming month lae.
will work on the 水仙 tomorrow first !

a romantic silent night

we had a wedding job in the afternoon on the day b4 x'mas.
it's leona&ken's wedding with the purple + silver theme.

the set-up process was very smooth, able to finish it by 3:30pm

it's above satisfactory :P

they played a song of 曹格 during our set-up, very romantic atmosphere there.

(but i don't know the name of the song lae)

and we watched twilight at the grand cinema at night!

i love this movie, 超romantic !

(but eric thinks it's a 攪笑片 ?!)

want to read the books now.

1 book many uses

bought this album book from toronto last time.
love the baby blue when first seeing it. very tiffany !
have added white ribbon with 2 prettie charms in heart shape,
look at the charms, they are different !!! but matched perfectly !
these 2 charms are actually my treasure, saved in my DIY box for long time.



planning to hold punch the flowery pattern on the border.
can use this as photo album, guest book, scrapbook.......
especially suitable for weddings and those who are obsessed with tiffany.
